Default RV-6 Crash in Beloeil Quebec

Hello,

I just have seen in Montreal local news there was a RV-6 crash in Beloeil Quebec yesterday. Aircraft crashed right after taking off from St-Mathieu-de-Beloeil airfield (CSB3). Pilot apparently died on impact, then airplane caught fire. According to news, Pilot name was Gilles Beauchesne, who had acquired recently this RV-6.

Does anybody have an idea what happened ?

Our sympathies go to our lost RV friend and his family.

I was just at this airport on Saturday to do the pre purchase on my new -7A purchase. Very nice aviation community. Sorry to hear this news.

Witnesses said it was on initial climbout. The airplane crashed and burned.
