I'll be interested in hearing about engine temps too. The Kitplanes article that Paul Dye wrote a few months ago said that both the -14 and -14A factory demo planes run cool and stated that Ryan at Vans was thinking about ways to reduce cooling airflow (to reduce drag). However I don't think either of the Vans demo planes have electronic ignition, which most people seem to be running these days, and that would increase CHTs compared to mags.
