Pic of one of the many corn mazes that are created in the Lehigh Valley.
This one is at Seiple Farms Family Owned.
Happened to pass over it on my way to Cherry Ridge Airport Restaurant one morning.
It says "Have Fun getting lost. discover lehigh valley com" http://www.seiplefarms.com/autumn.html
 
Found another Corn Maze while flying around Eastern PA today.
This one is located at Varner Farms in Collegeville, PA.
At the time this pic was taken they are selling their mainstay of Christmas Trees where you can cut your own.
If you look closely at the picture I took you can see people are looking at the trees and taking Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides.
Corn Maze says "FREEDOM MATTERS" on a map of the US and has a Liberty Bell and Eagle's head depicted.

Someone planted trees to spell "Jesus Lives."
There's a little part of me that wonders if the current owner of the paddock bought it like that, can't see the arrangement of trees from the ground, and has no idea what they're saying.

Kinda surprised no one has posted the airplane-shaped pool at the Flying W Airport (N14), in Lumberton, NJ.
Not my photo - I used to fly over it semi-often in the KC-10 when we were doing certain approaches, but it was always on the wrong side of the turn for me to get a pic.

It doesn't get much quirkier than Salvation Mountain out in Slab City, CA.
Finally got to fly below sea level. Landed nearby at Calipatria at minus 181' elevation.
There was a TFR over El Centro NAS. I got to see the Blue Angels practicing from a distance.
Follow the smoke trail and you can just make them out in diamond formation. |

No picture (actually, I made a couple of bad ones with my phone), but I once called in a house fire from the RV. More accurately, I called the local FBO on Unicom, reported a house fire and the approximate location, and circled until the fire department arrived.
Unfortunately, it was too late, and the house was mostly consumed by fire.
