Default Heat transfer paste for Rotax spark plugs.

http://store.leadingedgeairfoils.com...ducts_id=14342

Copy the link to your browser. It is available at other Rotax suppliers closer to you, but I purchased mine here.

Check the specs:

Nonconductive YES

or in other words, conductive: NO--not look good for spark plugs...

Bot a few of these before radio shack closed. The was another thread here somewhere but all the specs with the Rotax approved paste are exactly the same.

FYI, www.rotax-owner.com has a good video on the need for and use of "thermal paste" on Rotax 912 ULS spark plugs. All of the major suppliers (CPS, Lockwood, etc.) sell such paste or you can find some similar thermal paste at Radio Shack.

Where did you read that non-conductive grease or paste will damage spark plugs?
Any type of grease or paste could foul a spark plug if it gets onto the electrodes.
Properly tightened spark plugs will be well grounded no matter what type of grease is used on the threads.
Conductive grease or paste contains metal which might not be good for engines if it gets inside of a cylinder.
In the latest issue of Sport Aviation, Brian and Carol Carpenter discuss Rotax spark plugs including how to apply thermal paste sparingly to spark plug threads.

It is a white silicone based paste. It will transfer up to 50F from the plug to the head. This will help to keep detonation at bay. Apply a thin film to the top half of the plug. Do not glob it on or get it on the electrode or it may cause the plug to misfire. It won't burn off either.

The most common Mfg is MG Chemicals part 860-150g.

Do not use anti seize.
