Oh, but I have seen the entire V change with geese. A wing man 3-4 positions back finds himself in the lead as the formation wanders around and looks for landing and food. Maybe it is food that is the reward, not girls.

Thanks for the link, watched this last night as well as the one with a duct taped plane. Interesting stuff.

I had not seen this episode before. Thanks for the link Shadey.
Great follow up Nasty. If lead gets all the girls, what (or whom) does slot get?
...don't answer that.

When ever I see birds flying in formation I tell my friend or whoever I am with, look, you see that, they fly in a V to draft like NASCAR ya da yada, and then ask them if they know why one side of the Bird V formation is always longer on one side and they never know..........because there are more birds on that side! Ha!

Well, no one ever said the wingmen don't cheat from time to time. I know I would, if it meant getting to the food...or the girls...first. Those are the racing, or Navy, Geese...not cheating...not trying! Just sayin'!

Be careful what you ask for, Red 2...but as MC Hammer once said..."Can't touch that!"
