Default RV-4 and RV-8 common parts

Building the -4 is definitely a challenge compared with a pre punched QB -8!
Recently I have been helping repair an -8 and was impressed at how good the parts are and how they have improved even since 2007 when I built my -8. I know that the ailerons are the same so I guess one could order -8 aileron parts and enjoy the pre punched build or even QB ready assembled. The aft most two bulkheads F411 and F412 look to be identical but the -8 components look far better made.
Which led me to ponder what other bits might be identical eg flaps, components of the HS etc. Anyone know?
Thanks
Chris

Default There are several common parts...

...as you mentioned, the ailerons are identical. I have a few -8 parts on my wings. I talked to Van's about installing -8 aileron gap seals. They are way easier to install than the stock -4 seals. They gave me the thumbs up. I installed both in no time.

I will look when I get home at the total list. I have -4,6,7,8 part numbers on my project. (All common parts, except for the gap seals)
