Default My first RV10 ride

My first RV10 ride was in the back seat for a trip to OshKosh. I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable it was and fast it was. I dont get to go up very often but when we left Aurora and were over Cascade locks what seemed like 5 minutes later I couldn't believe it.

I never got uncomfortable in the back seat either. We made one fuel stop the first day and then the second day was only about a 2 hour flight, so we didnt mess around getting there.

Hey Joe,
I'm currently based in my garage. Once I get flying, I'm considering flying out of Centennial or Front Range, depending on hangar availability.

I have gotten to fly in both the front seat and back seat of an RV-10. Veeery comfortable, with good visibility too. Now that being said, I still love the other Vans models for their flying capabilities (RV-7, RV-4). They make the 10 feel like you're driving a truck, which, in a sense, it is.. A fast moving, fast climbing, stable, cross-country family truckster.

He said the runway was 5000ft long- just pointing out there's no reason to lift early for the cirrus- not every pilot flies the stall horn off the runway! I think he's itching for a reason to build order your kit!
