If she liked the butterflies you should try Moody Gardens in Galveston next.
short walk from Scholes Field and very cool. Easy day trip from Miss.

I have 2 more little girls that missed out on this trip. I was about to ask for suggestions to even up the jealousy. Talya just happened to be the one available on this day.

I need to take Georgiana (6) on a trip now. Delta (1) will probably wait a few years.

Galveston Scholes is a great day trip.

Moody Gardens is literally right next door. IMAX, indoor rainforest pyramid, aquarium, butterfly walk through, ..... plus the Lone Star Air Museum on Scholes Fld..... if you go on the right weekend they do T-6 and Stearman rides as well..... used to have B-25 and B-17 rides too, but seemed to have stopped recently

The beach isn't walking distance from the field, but there is good bus and taxi service on the island.

My folks live in Pointe Royale near the dam. We're in Branson all of the time. The only RV in Branson that I'm aware of is based at Branson downtown KPLK, an RV-8 belonging to Mark T.

Any others in Branson at Branson West, Kimberling City, etc.. ?

Turkey Mountain has some great little fly-ins and is a neat airport, the fly-in schedule on their website hasn't been updated yet.
