Default changing to longer gear

Does any one know whats involved in changing short gear on a 4 to longer gear and what that mite cost

It requires a new engine mount and the new gear legs. Also, the intersection fairings will no longer fit. Also because of the geometry change the wheel pants will also have to be re fitted.

and the worst part, two new holes on the firewall for the center bolts. They don't match the old holes.

Contact Vans. They have an engineered fix for the firewall holes. I swapped my gear and I'm glad I did. Good luck.
