Looking for a good paint shop near Memphis
Hello,
I'm looking for recommendations or reviews for a good paint shop in the mid-south to do an initial paint job. Here are a few I found on Google:
Airframes Inc. Milan, TN
Freeman Aircraft Painting, Covington, TN
Crider Aircraft Services, Mena, AR
AOG Paint Services, Mena, AR
Mena Aircraft Painting, Mena, AR
Amos Aircraft Painting, Mena, AR
Bobby Potts, Tuscaloosa, AL
Thanks

My (formerly chewed-up) 170B is at Mena, AR for airframe repair, and I have chosen Doug Blair (Mena Aircraft Painting) as he seems to be the best combination of speed and quality on the field, as well as the fact that they do interiors as well. Several guys I know swear by Dennis Goodner of AOG, but he can be a bit slow. Also, if you fly in, Goodner's shop is small so he likes to have the wings off, while Blair prefers all the fixed surfaces be on the airplane when he shoots it.

Bobby Potts
I highly recommend Bobby in Tuscaloosa. You can see mine in my signature. He did what he said he would do for what he said he'd do it for in the time he said it would take. Pictures of progress regularly.
Couldn't be happier.
