Default Flying to the Mothership on Tuesday.....

Looking for info.

I'm meeting my Lancair buddy in Redmond, Oregon tomorrow. He's dropping his plane off.

Tuesday morning we plan to get a tour of the Vans factory.

- no phone call needed? Just show up at 9 am. ?

- the airspace has changed recently right? Any advice or is the current sectional on Foreflight ok?

- still best to park at the Aurora Jet Center ?

Thanks

Darren

Airspace unchanged, until Thursday, then towered class D.

Aurora Jet Center is good.

Default Mother Ship Aircraft Parking

You can taxi between a row of hangers & park right behind Vans. There is a sign on a hanger pointing you down the correct taxiway. Look at Google Earth & print out a screen shot to take with you in the airplane.

I was up there last week. Parts of the south ramp are under construction. Look for a hand-painted sign on plywood directing you to Van's. The turn in is closer to Aurora Jet Center than it was before construction.
