Default Fuel Pump Attach Bracket

I've drilled the fuel pump attach bracket F875 Drawing 31 to the F844L longeron and landing gear box. The plans call for AN470AD4-6 rivets. They are going to be really awkward (impossible?) to squeeze. The will be difficult to drive with the gun because they are so close to the fuselage skin.

I'm thinking of just putting in some pulled rivets like the LP4-3) (at least on the longeron). Of course I don't want the fuel pump coming loose and breaking tubing and connections and spilling fuel in the cockpit. But I also don't think these need to be structural strength fasteners for this application.

Your thoughts please?

Vans have said they can't see any problems using the LP4-3.
