Default Start and termination of CAN

I am using gsu 73,2)g3x ,a/p305 and roll and pitch servos GSA 28. Do I want to run the CAN 22 gauge shielded two wire from gsu73 to end at GSA 28 pitch servo. Each connection (node) to CAN will be less than 12 in. Is this the. Or react way to route the CAN wires? When you tie into the CAN, do you just remove the shielding, solder the nodes to the CAN and then put a jumper wire across the shielding to keep continues. Sorry for so many questions, I have read the 700 pages to much.

Default Jumper wire for shielding

Can I use the same wire 22 gauge for the jumper on the shielding or do I need to use braided wire?

Check out this thread, it may contain the answers you are looking for.

To your second question: you can use non-shielded wire for the carry-through of the shields, AWG22 is fine. Look for the green wires in the photos in the attached thread.

Default CAN

Wire must be twisted pair. Shilding is preferable.you can connect shildin any way you want.
All nods must be connected in paralel

Depending on type of CAN you may need load resistor if load is not provided by any of the nodes this info probably will be in installation manual
