Default PIREPs needed for Freeflight or Lynx ADS-B in/out units

I'm about ready to pull trigger on either the Freeflight RANGR-978/LITE or the Lynx NGT-2000 ADS-B in/out. Both seem to have the same features and are about the same price so looking for some input (good or bad) on either of them to help with the decision.
I am aware of the Navworx offering but not interested at this time so please don't suggest them.

Thanks
Bill

Default Ranger 978

I use the full Rangr in/out with their ipad app ADSBView. Does what they say. Pleased with coverage. I get wx on the ground at KAPA. Communicates well with my Sandia transponder. Hoping to hard wire it into a GRT Sport eventually.

I don't think you lose much functionality that is applicable to an RV by going to the lite model.

Had a momentary glitch with the wifi related to an ipad software update but Dave was great about troubleshooting.

Yah, lotta planes out there, particularly near the metro area on a Saturday morning.
