Default RV-8 Transition Training

Just wanted to give a big thumbs-up to Bruce Bohannon for the transition training he gave me in his RV-8 this week. Bruce operates out of Flyin Tiger Airport, 81D, just north of Angleton, TX. He's a very thorough and patient instructor. I highly recommend him to anybody transitioning into the RV-8.

Good to hear. I learned fairly recently that Bruce was giving actual -8 training and was very interested. I hope he's still doing it in a couple years when I'm finishing up my project!

Could you give a little pirep on training in the 8? Did you fly front seat or back?

I flew all of my flights from the front seat. We spent most of the time in the landing pattern. Good, intense training.
