Default Dynon ADAHRS alignment

Hello,

I created a little rack for my ADAHRS and riveted it, measuring carefully the pitch and roll. Now I would like to fasten the ADAHRS on it, but I don't know how to be sure it is lined up with the aircraft. Any suggestion for that ?

Thank you
Sylvain

I used a suitable spacer between the unit and the centreline rib. From memory it's within 1 degree.

Exclamation Idea

You could use one of those digital levels, and "zero" it to the level (or not) angle of the slider rails as called out in the plans. Then move that level to your ADHRS and see if it still reads zero. Repeat for other axis. Any correction can be made with a brass washer or two under the low side.

Default correction

Thank you for your reply but I was misinterpreted. See my drawing. Positions A and B are already made. I search the position C and I don't find any marker on the fuselage to line up the ADAHRS.

Hornet answered in post 2. Parallel to the center rib.
