Default Gsu 73 vs gsu25

I am install 2ea g3x's which came with gsu73. It's a vfr panel. What is the difference between the two units? Unless I need a back up, do I need the gsu25 if I am installing a AOA ? Where is the best place for the gsu73 on a RV 9am? I was planning behind instrument panel on pilot side.

To get AOA you need to add the GSU 25 to your setup. I have a GSU 73 and GSU 25 combo in mine.

I put my GSU 73 sideways aft of the subpanel right behind the PFD on the pilot's side. Works great for me there!
