Oh, you don't have an RV pal who'll come over to your hangar on a Sunday morning when he could be out flying, look at that electrical wiring problem you've had for a week, and then crawl inside your Mercury 7-like space (even though he's over 6 feet tall) and fix your problem for you?

I do.

It's Brad Benson, (aka: "Chief Pilot" on VAF)

Who's your best RV pal and why?

Oh to be young, so many things are possible.😊

I still do it but not without pain and a cell phone handy in case I get stuck.

I got all the way back in the baggage compartment (at 6'0" and 260lb) and got a leg cramp once. I had a screw driver that I considered using to cut the fuselage in half....fortunately the cramp went away before I started.

Tanner Evans in Lubbock was immensely helpful with getting mine finished up and flying. Really good at troubleshooting. Russ Daves likewise. Rick Liles in the earlier parts of the build. As a first time builder I would have been in trouble without these guys. Thanks.
