Hi gang,
Can someone give me the math equation for calculating the K factor?

Thanks, but that?s not what I?m looking for. It?s just a simple equation to calculate fuel flow VS. fuel used. If I?m not mistaken, it?s (fuel used X old k factor divided by fuel added = new k factor). Hopefully someone will be ab to confirm if I have this equation/method correct or not.

(computed fuel used / actual fuel used) * your current K factor.

I used this to set mine up over several flights and now it's about 99% accurate.

Thanks a lot Peter! I plugged in some fictitious numbers and worked out an equation the way I thought it was suppose to be calculated and the way you said to do it, and the solution came out exactly the same.

FWIW I did mine this exact way back in 2013 with a very small "fine tuning" adjustment in 2017. Now when I fill up, the fuel remaining indication is within 1gal of actual.
