RV 14A landing Courchevel

They do insist on an altiport qualification before you are allowed to land there.
Either a general one or a single airport authority.

I have flown just round the corner from Courcheval at Meribel on a Jodel Mousquetaire with wheel skis. That was with an instructor. A lot of fun and highly recommended!

Thank You For Sharing!

That's incredible. Great videos. Really liked the takeoff, looks like the edge of the world at first.

Very interesting, Thank You!

Best regards,

Mountain RWY

Wait!, I wanted to see you take off on RWY 22! That would have been really exciting!
Seriously, that is an amazing location - I'm sure the video does not do it justice.

Georges - thanks for sharing. Question: about how much power is required right at touchdown?
I think about 30 to 40% power at touchdown.
The Piper Malibu is still here but the damages seemed very extensive
