Seal up the hanger also
If your hanger is the typical hanger construction, you probably have a gap between the floor and the metal sidewall skirting. All kinds of dust, sand, bugs and critters can find their way in. I filled mine with the round foam insulation tubes commonly used to insulate pipes. My door seals up pretty good so I have no problems there. Pretty much all that gets in now is what I track in or what blows in when the door is open. I still keep a couple gallons of water in the hanger to rinse the canopy though before I do anything else to clean the transparencies.
