Dynon D100 Battery Life?

The internal battery on my D100 (5 years in service + ~3 years in build) won't hold a charge.

How much life have others had out of their Dynon backup battery?

We replace very few batteries, and we've been selling them for 12 years now. However, 8 years is a pretty good life for one. We generally tell people to expect 5 years although history shows the average to be higher.

I have one that's at about 5 years old and still holding strong.

I have a D10A. The battery is about 5 years old and when I tested it today, it lasted about 5-10 mins and shut off. So I guess I will buy a new one. I have not been vigilant about checking the battery regularly, so I don't actually know how long it has been bad. It did work last summer (2014) for at least 15 minutes when I was flying without ships power.
