I was going to put this in the 9 thread but thought most items would be needed for all the models.

I am doing my first condition inspection next month. I started a list on what I should order to have ready but would like suggestions on other items or tools needed to get it done. There is a good list in "Are My Nuts Tight" so I think I am off to a good start. This assumes I have all the hardware and normal items most of us have in our hangars.

1. Mouse Milk
2. Spark Plug Gaskets - plugs if needed
3. Anti seize paste
4. Carb Cleaner to clean engine
5. Exhaust gaskets
6. Oil - filter - air filter
7. Wheel bearing grease
8. Brake Pads - if needed
9. Extra tube
10. Indicator Paint
11.
12.

- Carb Inlet Screen Gasket
- Oil Pump Suction Screen Gasket
- LPS 1, 2 & 3
- Brake Fluid (5606 or Royco 782)

O-rings

Having had a break failure on a recent landing. Im putting replace brake puck O-rings
on the list. Using Vton higher temp O rings.

Band Aid (or equivalent) bandages. The day I do a condition inspection without leaking human 5606 is the day I hire someone else to do it!

But even then….

Marc, but even then, you bleed. You just bleed green. ;)

And me, I usually just change gloves and bleed into the new one. All bleeding stops eventually, as my MD brother in law likes to say.

Add outer bowl oring for Andair collator, if that’s what you’re using.
