Sky view Wi Fi

Ordered the new wifi USB interface, received a box with the USB device and zero instructions. It also had an extension cable. I realize I must plug it into a USB port but how to proceed from there with foreflight on my IPAD is a mystery.

Check out the Skyview System Installation Guide, page 15-13 in the latest version (Rev W). Basically, SYSTEM SETUP > WI-FI SETUP.

Plug it in (don't need the extension cable).
Go into setup and set the SSID and password.
Log onto the WIFI on your iPad.
Open Foreflight.
Use GPS position and attitude on Foreflight for location and synthetic vision.
Load flight plans to and from the Skyview on Foreflight (there is a new icon in Foreflight to share flight plans).

Easy peasy.

Installed this today in 5 minutes. I had already planned out my Oshkosh trip on Foreflight. One tap on the screen and my flight plan was loaded instantly. Technology is outstanding and the Skyview is terrific.
