Where are you going?

School will be out soon and I will be able to join you then.

URS, i can't believe it, your first post! welcome to the =VAF= family. :) i will miss your company in the air and on the pickleball court this summer. we will return before you know it. i packed mostly shorts and t-shirts for the first trip to CT and was i wrong. too cold for my florida blood. in the low 60's yesterday in laconia NH and blowing. keep tuned here for turbos travels.

this mid weeks rv flight was in laconia nh. it was a small group battling the windy conditions and GREAT food at our favorite food stop called cravings. after eating al and i borrowed the crew car and headed to weirs beach which is prepping for bike week. the t-shirts are becoming a work of art these days. next was a stop by one of our bfast companions house which is perched on the shore of the lake. wow. what a place with a view of mount washington on a clear day. by now it was 2pm and we took a quick look at the radar and knew it was time to head south with some wx moving in. als route was clear and i could pick up an ifr if needed. back home and ready for another day. it is nice to have a rv buddy to hang around with.
pic from weirs beach waterfront.

kim and i finished round two with the helo yesterday. we were planning on stopping at cape may when passing tangier island VA. a quick call in flight gave us a hotel reservation with dinner and b-fast included. don't pass up this jewel of a place. you can walk the entire island and get food and learn about its history. bird watching is excellent too.
