I noticed that the nut on the new tube's valve stem was loose. The nut on the old tubes valve stem was also loose. Is the nut supposed supposed to be on the inside against the tube or on the outside tightened against wheel? Or, is the nut not used in this wheel application? The nut being loose on the new tube indicated to me that it might be removed for some reason.
