Scratch build

I sold my RV-4 and I think I'm coming down with something it is very serious...

Serial builders disease.

I told myself NO WAY NO NO NO WAY was I _EVER_ going to build another airplane ever again. But I really miss my RV-4 fastback and every other plane I look at isn't as good.

So I'm on the first step... admitting I have a problem. What do I do?

I sold it for my first to go to college. I'm thinking I may do a very long build of another RV-4. 70's style, from raw stock mostly. Air Parts, Inc is on my way home from work... stop in every few months and get another sheet of .032 or some angle stock.

That is definitely in the hunt. I owned a RV-3 from 1997 till about 2003. I loved it and I wouldn't mind flying it again. I can safely say it was the best flying airplane I ever flew.

Organize the shop, get the tools ready, order tail:D

You've already had 2 RVs. Maybe it's time for something different.....a Christen Eagle!

....or really challenge yourself and scratch build a Bucker. Then you can say the second best flying airplane you have ever flown is an RV3.
No disrespect to the Eagle. :)

Slow build F1 Rocket or F4 Raider....

I just happen to know that parts are slowly becoming available again!
