Thanks guys!

I'll probably go with the West Systems epoxy and filler because I'm familiar with it.

LED drivers may be DC-to-Dc converters

In fact, LEDs cannot operate off of ship voltage, unless it is a very narrow range. For this light, input current is specified to be roughly inversely proportional to input voltage. That virtually...

Smile Clarification

Typically, I slip rudder to the firewall. Yes, rudder forces are high, but I just push hard enough to overcome them. I'm pretty sure the angle is more than 10 degrees.
I've used this technique on...

I have found that most controllers do a decent job, a few are exceptionally helpful, and a few are jerks. I guess just like any other profession.

I usually use flight following. Part of the reason...

Trutrak/altrak and static source

The builder of my RV9A left the Altrak staic open rather than connecting it to the system. At first I though that was a bad...

I think so

There are many varying opinions, but after searching around the web I reached the conclusion that as long as the unit has suitable accuracy monitoring and warning (RAIM equiv) and a current data...

Pitot tubing & connectors??

Hi All,

I've just installed a second Dynon D10A. I need to tie in the pitot line
from the first, but I'm not sure what kind of tubing was used. I'm not the

It looks like the colored stuff...

Thanks guys!

My intuition was that 15 ft/lbs was too much. Good to get confirmation. Sounds like 1/2 that may be about right.

O-Ring question still open, but its for the next time. I've got the new valves for...

Extended fuel for RV-9A

I'm buying Scott's RV-9A next week and I'm starting to look for extended fuel options.
Anyone used the "Turtle-Pac"? It looks like a decent solution, but I'm trying to figure out where to put it...

Is it possible to put fuel injection on an O-320? If so, are there kits or other guidelines for doing it?
