Bill,
this is a problem with alot of installations, The best fix is to drill and tap a hole on the aft side of the acc. case. and plug the original. I you look at new lycomings you'll see they...

Van's Tachometer

I'm looking for some comment on these tachs that Van sells, The elec. ones with transducer on engine. Mine seems to be about 300 rpms off at higher power settings.

Question Airspeed calibration

Does anyone have the calibration tables for using a manometer to check airspeed & pitot. they were published in sport aviation some time ago but I don,t recall the exact issue.

I'm in finishing stage of My -4, When running the engine I have to have the mixture approx. 3/4 back to get it to run smooth at idle. At 1500 about the same. If I go full rich the eng. floods, lots...
