I repair surgical instruments for a job, and when buffing is required, I use a soft buffing wheel on one of those bench grinder motors. Use the buffing compounds that come in a small brick. Works...

Workshop Class

I took the builders' class in Boone, IA through Cleaveland Aircraft Tool. It was done on a Fri and a Sat. They do it once a month I think.

We'll see.......but I hope they manage to make the whole deal work. Interesting idea.....if I used one of their engines in the RV8 I'm gonna build, the pilot would need overhaul BEFORE the engine...

The Dynacam wasn't a Wankel. It was a weird arrangement of cylinders. I heard the cylinder arrangement was similar to the chambers that held the ammo in a revolver.....very unusual.

Whatever happened to that Dynacam I think it was called, that Piper was test-flying in an Arrow some years back? There was talk about them putting it into production, but I never heard anything about...
