The wear mark is correct from the previous instal.

if it's not aligned correctly now and I start the motor I assume that it will leave a mark on the side of the flange. Is the is there a way to bench test a bad fuel pump visually or otherwise?

I either have a bad mechanical fuel pump or I didn't allign the push arm and flange correctly when installing pump. How do I tell which problem I have?

I would recommend taking your transition training the week before you intend to fly your plane. I used Dan Ross in Reno. He does a great job.

How short is too short?

I ordered an ECI OX-340S. One of the reasons that I chose this engine is that it comes with 8.3-1 compression ratio. The guys at ECI said that Mogas work just fine in this engine.

Dimpling accident "8"

I was dimpling the skins for the rudder and the stiffener got hung up and gave me an odd shaped hole that could best be described as an "8". What is an acceptable fix for this? It hasn't been riveted...
