Yes, of course. But if the bottom wingtip skin (W1204D) isn't riveted on yet, why would you even need the <big> template hole, when a small <easy> 3/8" hole will do?

I think I did the same thing. Counterweight pipe was about 1/16" (maybe 1/32) proud of "flush" with the end. So I used the scotchbrite wheel to grind it down.
