Donít know but

I replaced mine (#2194) and from what I could tell, the new ones were slightly heavier than those installed. Iíve heard the original weldments were even lighter.

Mike at Garmin echoed what we decided here, that the battery had discharged over the last 6-7 months and consequently the G5 unit was not behaving itself. They sent a new, fully charged battery...

Mine is an 0-360, FP, short legs. It does land tail first when 3 pointing but it?s not a big deal and I wheel land most of the time anyway. I?m not at all inclined to switch.

It doesn?t work reliably when airborne or when cell service is spotty. However the IPad with gps , I have found to be very reliable. I don?t have an external backup. My 2 cents.

New Verizon iPad mini 4 with 128 gig and Foreflight. Also Stratus 2 and ESG transponder. There are cheaper ways to do it but not better IMHO.

The PC 680 never really did it for my 0360 ...always seemed to struggle when first start of the day. Skytec NL and new cables and solenoids.

Switched to electric 3 years ago. Very straight forward.
2 reasons,
Flap lever conflicted with my passengers left foot.
Second, pulling full flap was getting harder on my shoulder.
No regrets.

Would not put the ears in a vice... If the nut is very tight(mine was), the ears will break, ask me how I know! Think it might be better to find a way to tightly hold the cap itself.

I had a 122/NL fail last July. Same type failure of front casting. Pin did not break.
Skytec replaced no charge. About 150 hours.
