It occurs to me to ask: Does the vacuum pump on the Lyc 320 have the same deal? If I permanently pull the pump is there anything else in there that I need to remove before I cover the hole?

Kyle, AD is no more but others are saying Sensenich. I may call them. The damage is deeper than just the gelcoat. Some wood is involved.

Rules for Owner Repairs/Mods

Say I want to put a bigger oil cooler on my RV. Am I allowed, as long as I document? I'm not the builder, nor am I an A&P. Do I need an A&P "sign-off", or is just documenting the work OK?
