After market mount

They are after market. Yes they are both billet. One is straight other is 90 degree mount. One I got off of ebay the other I dont recall where I got from. Just did a google search for GoPro mounts....

Tried it out today. Works good, although I did loose signal a few times,think because I had camera mounted under the wing. Its much easier to change settings with the app as opposed to the remote....

Update

Well I flew with another airspeed indicator installed along with Dynon. Airspeed is the same on both, so its not the Dynon.
Guess I will go back and look at static ports and pitot tube placement....

I did my transition training in a slider. Dont think visibility is that big of an issue but you do have to look around the pillar. Slider tailwheel looks cooler on the ground. Deciding factor for me...

Hinges

I used hinges and a thick (.060) piece of aluminum. Rivet half of hinge to floor. and other half to aluminum with hole in it for tie downs. They can also be removed (half of it) when desired as well....

They are button heads not countersunk right? Button heads you can grind off the head with a die grinder and abrasive wheel. Then punch out the body when the head is gone. Use caution not to grind on...

I just primered mine with self etching primer (rattle can from Autozone). Will worry about painting them when I paint the aircraft. Wanted to keep them from corroding in the mean time.
