My rv-9 developed cracks

After around 300 hours. I rebuilt the entire rudder and used proseal on all the stiffeners. I'm 300 hours since the rebuild and no signs of cracks returning.

Flying for groceries

I've flown for groceries many times, It's a nice change of pace. Reedsburg WI (C35) has a big grocery store and hardware store adjacent to the airport and reasonable 100LL.

I have the Trig TT-31 and a garmin GPS-20A for position source and a garmin 696 for traffic display. The GPS-20A is a bit less expensive than the Trig TN-70 and should work with the TT-22.

I had the same problem.

I was able to fix by going into application manager and deleting data and cache, that way it kept my settings, pilot and plane info.

I followed the firewall plans for my io 360 rv-9. The only thing that I would do differently is wait until the engine is hung before drilling the throttle and mixture cable holes.
