It always amazes me to watch the Ford, AT6's Beech 18 taildraggers, etc handle gust to 30 straight across 36, but some of the nosedraggers can't handle 10 knot crosswind.

Non RV, 320 with 10-1 pistons, mags and carb. Cooler is angled back about 15 degrees, no stand off at the bottom. Small inlets and outlets, cowl flap.
No problems in hot weather, runs a bit too cool...

#8 screw is .160, so the proper drill size is #20 at .161. This is confirmed by measuring the pilot on countersink which measures .160. Countersink came in a plastic bag labeled #20 pilot.

The six quarts for minimal oil consumption and 2 quarts for absolute minimum is for most parallel valve 320/360's with eight quart sump. IO 360 angle valve will require more oil for most sumps.
