I got my answer from Vans today. The EGT probe holes in mine were mis-drilled. You might want to check yours. The fix is easy but I had to ship my tubes back.

Ahhhh...except that the cylinders running richer, are the ones further from the carb. Cylinders 1&2 have a longer intake run than 3&4 which are clearly the lean ones.

No, it's pretty obviously the stud. Hopefully it will go away as John said. It's supposed to be secured with Locktite 648, which is green and cures. I guess I'm surprised the stud goes all the way...
