I put a Prince prop on my RV-7A. I replaced the fixed pitch metal prop. Night and day on the performance. Would totally recommend it. Took a while to get because they make them to order.

I have a similar set up. HDX Garmin 650, Flightstream 510. Here's the problem. You can only update the nav database on the 650 using Garmin pilot. So I keep Garmin Pilot.

You should be able to go directly from the 760 to your AP for basic tracking. You would need the HS34's arinc 429 interface if you wanted AP to fly a glideslope from an IFR navigator like a 650

I would not use the Ipad for primary because as mentioned, bad in sunlight. If you want budget, go with a Garmin G5 and 760.
