One quart of West Systems with 206 hardener, small 410 micro filler and small bag of flox will get you through. I did a 7 with these quantities and even filled in the stab and elevator caps.

Graphite powder

I bought a can of West Systems graphite powder. Great for coloring and maybe a little added strength. Very handy when doing to wind screen glass. Doesn't take much to color the epoxy.

Near 200 hours now

I have the PPS on my 7 with IO390. I posted earlier when I had about 60 hours on it. I now have near 200 and the PPS has functioned perfectly.

Sure it is $1500. However we spend tons on our screens...

I tend to agree that paint and panel are the big issues. The [I]quality[I] of both the paint and panel are the biggest influence. I've seen some nice schemes but up close they were not so good....

Heat shield inside

The reason for polishing the firewalls we twofold. 1) Looks better than unprepared stainless and 2) Very easy to clean if needed.

I used small spacer and glued them in place. They became part of the process!! Also, now that I've used Sil-Pruf in a couple of projects I recommend it over Sika. Much easier to get, easier to work...

Get a hex head set screw for 3/8." This will allow you to adjust the tie down ring for a perfect set for the proper orientation. You can leave a little gap or use a nylon washer. Either way great way...

Fuel line cover

RV7. I mounted one on the fuel line cover that is under your legs in front of the spar. Perfect location. Out of the way and easily accessible. Going to mount one on the other side as well.

Click Bond Packets

I always keep the Click Bond individual use packets on hand. They are really handy when you don't need a bunch of adhesive.

Also, check around for Hysol adhesive. Similar to CB.

They are as tight as you make them. Standard install has a "L" washer between the angles and the latch. That is your gap. Some install UHMV tape on the latch and this will help some.
