When I bought my Surefly in person at the factory as I live nearby, getting power from that solenoid was their recommendation for a RV10. I do still have a Slick on the right side.

Ummm,no. DOT 4 is definitely not ATF! DOT 4 is totally compatible with DOT 3,it simply has a higher boiling point. It is not compatible with oil based fluids at all.
