Bob. You are right. I was Missing a variable. Water vapor at that altitude displaces oxygen requiring pressurized oxygen. The alveolar PO2 is 100mmHG.

Foreflight is strong, but FlyQ is way easier for flying in VFR environment. WingX is also a strong product.

As Bob says, do some flying then get trial subscriptions and try them all out for yourself.

My RV7A is the easiest landing airplane I have ever flown.

Get plenty of time in rental planes before you venture out in your RV.

I used to see fuel pressures all over the map and low pressure alarms just about every flight. Changed to new VDO sensors and pressure now read 4.7 pretty consistently.

AFS interfaces seamlessly with Avidyne navigators. Color scheme and logic th same. AFS is seamless with garmin as well but understands Avidyne better than others.

It’s really hard to slip an RV at cruise speeds. That big rudder is really hard to push out into the wind. I have pressed on it at cruise, never hard enough to endure a true slip.
