I used Camlock KM610 flush latches and a spring hinge from Cleveland Tools. Looks clean and works great. Make sure you get Camlocks for the correct thickness (e.g., 0.064 inch).

The upper hinge is not attached to the Classic Aero seat. It uses its own seat back, rather than the Van’s metal seat back. The Flight Designs seat back does use the metal seat back for support.
