My method is to turn off the fuel to kill the engine. Let the engine burn what's left in the lines. No fuel, no vapor lock. Normal start when you are ready.

Middle Rivet Hole

I cut a rivet really short and bucked it in the hole between the handles. It is flush on the inside and smooth.

Those flanges will need to be fluted. A special pair of pliers is required for this. There is a section in the instructions that talks about fluting.

Joe Gores was kind enough to solve my problem.

Hook a ground to the common terminal and hook the general purpose input to the normally open terminal.
