Ty-wraps

When using Ty-wraps, I first run a piece of heat shrink over it on the section that tightens on the tube. kinda protects the tubing and have not noticed any chaffing in many many hours.

Case oil leak

Clean off seam with MEK, pull a vacuum on the case through the oil filler tube with a vacuum cleaner and run a bead of super glue along the seam....has worked for me in the past.

It sometimes amazes me to see how non-chalant some folks are when it comes to fueling. I either do it myself or stand there while it is bring done. Guess what?, I've never had a problem.

Aileron trim

You just connect an electric servo to operate the trim springs instead of the the ugly lever between the seats. Works great especially with the roll and pitch operated from buttons on the stick.

If your referring to the fairing at the bottom of the HS, why not just rivit it on. You never have to take it off anyway.

The old squeeze and bump trick works pretty good. I built a RV6 several years ago and had a heavy left wing... squeezed the right aileron trailing edge just a hair and fattened up the left aileron...
