The 245/245R uses the CAN bus to integrate with the G3X, it is not controllable from the 750.
I went back and forth on that one when deciding which to install in my own aircraft, went with the 245R.

Showing the timing likely won't help you, by the time you realize it's happening it's too late.

It's Never a good idea to run high voltage wires in the same bundle as sense wires if it can be avoided. (EGT/CHT run in the microvolt range)
You may get away with it but still not good practice.

If you short the batteries terminals and kill it then I don't think it's fair...

I'd be surprised if was able to develop power if it really had that low a pressure, I believe 18psi in minimum for operation.
And yes standard FP is >25 psi.
