SL-30 Power Failure

My Sl-30 will not turn on-power out. There is 12vdc to the 1 pin in the tray and a good ground to pin 9. I assume it's inside the radio itself.

Any ideas? Shop recommendations?

Lake Placid, NY is always nice-Summer or Winter. Miracle on ice hockey rink, Whiteface Mountain, great shops/restaurants, nice hikes in the woods, airport in town and at least 2 RVers up there.

Contact Van's. They have modification plans to the seat areas for taller pilots. I know of one that was done on the -6. Not sure about the rest.

Seat Belts

I only use seat belts around the control stick for gust locks. Provides the required protection and as a safety benefit, you certainly will not take-off with these gust locks installed.
