The EGT temps are the most bothersome. Cylinder #1 EGT is running 80 to 90 degrees warmer than the other cylinders while in cruise....

You definitely have a carb float issue. In my opinion, this engine is not airworthy. plus it looks to be a major fire waiting to happen. Yes definitely bad floats.

I have a 9A with a metal fixed pitch.
Don't think I can get close to 2700 rpm more like 2400 rpm in cruise at 3000 ft

Hole in wheel pants

There is no hole in my wheel pants to check tire pressure. So the only way to check pressure is to remove pants check pressure and reinstall pants. What a pain!!
Does anyone have dimensions to help...

When leveling off after a climb, my engine sometimes hic ups for just a split second.
Not enough that the wife notices, but makes me nervous.
