Check the elbows used for your oil cooler... if they are the blue anodized aluminum part, those are prone to hair line fractures and under pressure can spew a lot of oil.

The stock hinge cover's spring will deform when removing and will need to be replaced, it will not survive...

I chased a handful of small leaks around the engine for about a year ... I didn't have to do anything but replace star washers and make sure the torque was set correctly.
