Mine are similar to those. I use a rounded head grade 8 bolt through a large socket threaded into the tie down. The socket acts as a cup for the ram so it canít slip.

Right or wrong but I heated the 1/4? urethane tubing and slid it onto the AL tubing from the pitot. It?s not coming off unless I cut it off, no fitting and one less chance of a leak.
